How to present your tourism business in 30 seconds
Everyone — agencies, hotels, guides, startups, destinations.
A clear 30-second pitch is your most valuable fair asset. It must answer: who you are, what you do, who you do it for, and what makes you different. Nothing else.
Practical steps
- 1Sentence 1 (5s): your name, role, company, location.
- 2Sentence 2 (10s): what you sell and to whom.
- 3Sentence 3 (10s): one concrete proof point (number, client, award).
- 4Sentence 4 (5s): the specific reason you're talking to THIS person right now.
Checklist
- Under 30 seconds when timed
- No jargon
- One concrete number
- Ends with a question or specific ask
Pitch examples
Travel agency: "Hi, I'm Sara, founder of MedinaTours, a B2B agency in Marrakech selling Morocco programs to French and Spanish tour operators. We grew 40% last year with a focus on cultural and gastronomy circuits. I'd love to know if you're looking to add Morocco to your 2026 catalog." Hotel: "Hi, I'm Karim, GM of Riad Atlas in Fez — a 22-room boutique with 9.4/10 on Booking. We just launched private experiences for European operators: cooking classes, calligraphy workshops, Atlas day-trips. Are these the kind of products your clients are asking for?" Tourism app: "Hi, I'm Yasmine, CEO of CityWalk — an audio-guide app powered by AI. We're live in 12 cities with 80,000 downloads, and just signed Casablanca and Seville. We license to DMOs for €500–2,000/month. Does your destination already have a digital guide?"
